Why we built Hathaura

Hathaura started with a mirror moment.

After finally getting a professional color analysis done, our founder saw what the right palette actually does — not a makeover, just you, clearer. Skin calmer, eyes brighter, the whole effect of finally wearing colors that belong to you. The transformation was real, but the takeaway wasn't: a single session, a few notes, and weeks later you're back to guessing in the fitting room.

So we made the guides first — detailed, season-specific references people could actually keep and shop from. Color enthusiasts found them on Etsy, and 800+ customers later, with a 4.8★ rating, it was clear the guides solved a real problem.

Then stylists started asking the obvious question: could my clients get something like this, with my name on it?

We built the platform alongside working stylists and color analysts — the people who do this for a living — so the tool reflects how real sessions run, not how software companies imagine they do. The result is a structured analysis workflow and a branded, client-ready guide that makes a stylist's expertise look as good as it is.
